I love the show “House” but i was thinking about how high his patient’s medical bills must be. I’ve never had an extended stay at a hospital, but i would think that with all the medicines and tests they run, it would be quite costly… anyone have any incite?

That’s what insurance is for and why we need it. Hospital bills and tests are easily compiled into 10’s of thousands in a week.

HAHA!! Yeah, I’m waiting for the “They don’t have insurance so we’ll let them die” episode.
Also, if all doctors and hospitals had THAT much trouble diagnosing every patient that hit their doors…well, that’s a scary thought!

lol, I’ve though about that SOO much. Just the incredible amount of absolutely useless tests they run.. The bill must be astronomical. But still, he is the best :))

Must Cost aplenty, you have probably noticed that the ” Unexplained” medical cases come to House, which makes it interesting.Afterall its not like there are No hospitals around. In the 1st season the Board decided to get rid of a High-roller who was going to Pump $100 Million into the Hospital ” IF” House was Canned in the Process.House came off the Winner. For all his warts- House Brings Money into the Hospital, why kill the Golden Goose?
